I thought since my Life Group got cancelled tonight due to the wintery weather, I’d at least venture out get some pictures. At the least, it seemed a good excuse to avoid homework for a few minutes. I could sit and watch people attempt to make it up the hill near by all night; for some reason their attempts intrigue me. It’s not so much laughter at their failed attempts, but feeling sorry for their situation and more importantly, greatful that it’s not me in their shoes. So I’ll hang low in my apartment tonight, catch up on some homework and let it snow. This is a picture of the flakes falling at the entrance to my place.

Home for the weekend
I went home last weekend to take care of some appointments and have a little fun. I got a chance to spend friday evening with Caleb and Sarah. We went out to dinner and then had coffee together at Starbucks afterward. I always have so much fun hanging out with them. They’re great friends!
pheasant hunting
My dad and I went to Eastern Washington on Saturday and Sunday to do a little hunting before I finally headed home. It poured down rain and was really cold Saturday afternoon and made it somewhat miserable to be out in fields. We stayed in Moses Lake Saturday night and awoke to clear skies and much more pleasant circumstances on Sunday. We spent all morning chasing pheasants. They’re pretty elusive and prooved to outsmart us on a couple of occassions. Colby, my dad’s new dog, had a good time and keeps impressing us with his abilities at only 18 months old. He’s a good little hunter and our only reason for success.
